Drummond Heirlooms Exhibit Opens on September 2 at Family’s Historic Home in Hominy

HOMINY, Okla. — From Wednesday, September 2, through Wednesday, September 30, family heirlooms belonging to the Fred and Addie Drummond family will be displayed at the Victorian-style home they built in 1905.

Once a year, the historic home displays artifacts belonging to the Osage County ranching family for the public to view. Articles of clothing, school memorabilia, sheet music, quilts, toys and numerous attic treasures will be displayed.

The exhibit is included with paid admission to the home.

The Fred and Addie Drummond Home is located at 305 N. Price Ave. in Hominy. It is open Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Call 918-352-5583 for more information.

The Fred and Addie Drummond Home is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people. Founded in 1893 by members of the Territorial Press Association, the OHS maintains museums, historic sites and affiliates across the state.
